MANSFIELD, LA — For 125 years, Community Bank of Louisiana has provided banking services in Northwest Louisiana – proudly serving friends and neighbors with personal service, a commitment to community, and continued investment in the area.
In 1996, CBLA expanded into Shreveport for the first time – marking the beginning of a 30+ year relationship with the city many employees, staff, and friends call home.
Community Bank ❤️’s Shreveport, and is excited as ever for the future of the city. This region is anchored by Shreveport-Bossier City, and positive momentum in Shreveport is growing every day.
In 2027, Community Bank of Louisiana will construct a two-story state-of-the-art banking center along Southern Loop in South Shreveport. As the newest addition to the Provenance Community, this will mark the bank’s 5th office in the City of Shreveport and Caddo Parish, and 13th location overall.

President & CEO Jayce Simpson:
“Our bank is stronger than ever before, so the timing is right to expand our services in Shreveport. We are proud to kick this project off as we celebrate 125 years in operation and 30 years in Shreveport. As neighborhoods grow and more development moves in, we will be positioned to serve that growth with local leadership, local decision making, and the same conservative banking practices we have been known for since 1901.”
Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux:
“Community Bank of Louisiana’s continued investment in Shreveport reflects the confidence businesses have in our city’s growth and future. This new location will expand services for residents in South Shreveport while contributing to the continued development of the Southern Loop corridor. We appreciate Community Bank’s long-standing commitment to our community and look forward to seeing this project move forward.”
The Southern Loop office will be about a mile from Interstate 49 at the corner of Pecan Square Avenue and Southern Loop; adjacent to Provenance Veterinary Clinic. Community Bank has selected Prevot Design Services of Shreveport for the design and architecture work. Site prep is now underway and building construction will begin late this year.
