Kennon Williams

Kennon Williams is the principal of Kennon Williams Landscape Studio (KWLS), a Landscape Architecture firm located in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has worked in the field of landscape architecture since 1996 with a particular focus on the integration of site design, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility and has lectured widely and served on state and national panels related to these topics. He has extensive experience in urban and community-scale design and has participated in design charrettes and planning in diverse locales such as Washington D.C., Portland, Oregon, Florida Panhandle, Amsterdam, and Moscow.

Michael Watkins Architect, LLC is an urban design and architecture firm dedicated to designing and implementing a walkable, lasting, and beautiful public realm that fosters community. Current projects include the design of neighborhoods, hamlets and town extensions, preparation of design guidelines and zoning ordinances, town architect services for Traditional Neighborhood Developments (TNDs), and leading and participating in urban design charrettes. Recent projects include Seaside in Florida, Norton Commons in Louisville Kentucky, Granary Row in Salt Lake City Utah and Kentlands in Gaithersburg Maryland.

With 20 years of experience in the residential architecture field, Bennett Sabatier has earned a stellar reputation providing home designs in the Traditional Neighborhood Development market. Working with builders, developers, and custom home clients alike, each project is a valuable endeavor that strives to compliment the vision of each and every individual development. Bennett has designed well over 300 homes in the past 10 years, many in Louisiana’s original Traditional Neighborhood Development, The Village of River Ranch, located in his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. He brings to Provenance the knowledge and experience of working within the regulating Design Codes of these developments, in addition to designing numerous homes that already grace the streets of Provenance.

Mike began Thompson Placemaking in 2015 and now specializes in authentic southern architecture, Traditional Neighborhood Design, architecture pattern books, small mixed-use and residential design. He currently serves as Town Architect for The Village at Madison in Madison MS, Annafeld in Billings, MT, Adelaide in Starkville, The Lamar in Oxford.

Steve Oubre has over 40 years of experience in managing projects as Principal-In-Charge of a wide range of award-winning building types, including ecclesiastic buildings and campus master plans, schools and universities, museums, medical and healthcare facilities, restaurants, office buildings, recreation centers, and most recently New Urbanist developments along the U.S. Gulf Coast. As Architectural Review Person at Provenance, Oubre combines energy and creativity with experience in the construction process to obtain positive results. He represents the versatility and imagination that is an integral part of the firm’s approach and has applied an extensive knowledge of Master Planning, progressive regional design, and emotional sensitivity to the environment into nationally respected places of endearment.
