DESCRIPTION:Provenance is proud to once again host the Heels Up 5K Race!\nThe 9th Annual Heels Up Race will take place on March 22\, 2025 in Shreveport\, Louisiana. \nThis year’s 5K race begins and ends in the Provenance Community (3.1 miles). Proceeds from this race supports The Hub Urban Ministries program Purchased: Not for Sale. A Kids Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. Registration is $15. All kids participating in the 1/2-mile fun run will be awarded a water bottle. \nEvery dollar raised ensures that The Hub Urban Ministries can serve women and children trapped in the sex industry and victims of sex trafficking. Purchased: Not for Sale exists to connect women in the sex industry and victims of sex trafficking to rescue\, relationships\, resources and recovery\, all things necessary to break free from the bondage they are in. \nAll runners are invited to donate their shoes or bring a pair of shoes to donate on race day. If you donate your race shoes after you cross the finish line\, then you will receive a Heels Up water bottle and a chance to win a year subscription to Rise Up and Roast coffee. $250 to first place overall male and female winners. $100 to second place overall male and female winners. \nSign Up to Run Here! \n5K registration is $30 through Jan. 31; $35 through March 21; $40 day of race. **Early registration is recommended to guarantee a T-shirt** \nWatch: KSLA: Heels Up 5K to be held March 22 to help victims of human trafficking \n
