MEET THE REGIONS
France – Our first region, France, will celebrate one of the world’s oldest and largest wine producers. Sounds of the French Opera will take patrons on a journey to Paris, while they sample classic pairings of French wine and cheese.
California – Our second region, California, is sure to be a crowd favorite. We’ll be celebrating regions from around the state, such as Napa, Sonoma, and the North Coast.Superior’s Steakhouse will be rolling fresh sushi on site, to pair with various California wine styles. Local singer-songwriter T.D. McMurry will be providing the tunes, ranging from 60’s surf rock to 90’s West Coast pop.
Latin America – Our third region, South America, will showcase the continent’s booming wine regions such as Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. El CABO VERDE will be pairing specially crafted tacos with the South American wines being poured. DJ Lomax The Grey will be spinning Latin-inspired vinyl, to set the mood while the wine and tacos delight your tastebuds.
Oceania – Our fourth region, Oceania, will explore the wines of the Pacific – including Australia and New Zealand – and South Africa. Australia and South Africa are currently the world’s #5 and #8 producers of wine, with many different styles due to the regions’ varying climates and topography. Joy Clemons will be playing Tibetan singing bowls and gongs, channeling the peaceful vibrations of the ocean.
Italy – Our fifth region, Italy, will highlight the world’s top wine-producing country. The country’s wildly varied climate also produces a broad variety of styles. Giuseppe’s Pastacaffe will be showcasing their Italian cuisine, highlighted by the restaurant’s famous homemade pastas. While enjoying wine and pasta pairings, the sounds of a string duo will transport patrons to the romantic Italian countryside.
