“The owners of a new house in Shreveport, La., selected a metal roof in Charcoal so it blends with nearby houses and complements the private residence’s paint color, Benjamin Moore and Co.’s Woodlawn Blue. Sabatier Architecture LLC designed the project and Vintage Construction Group was the general contractor and builder.

Garrard Sheet Metal Works LLC installed 4,300 square feet of McElroy Metal’s 24-gauge Meridian standing seam roof system in PVDF Charcoal. The panels have a 1-inch seam height, which fit the residential project’s aesthetic goals.

Additionally, Garrard Sheet Metal Works installed custom chimney covers and vent pipe flashings. Factory formed eave notching enabled an architectural eave detail that did not require fasteners along the eave. Striated panels were selected to add texture and lessen the appearance of oil canning. The project was completed in August 2016.
